Photoshop Tip of the Day | Photoshop Actions Tutorial Shortcuts
Just quick little shortcut tip for you all!
This is a little shortcut I use constantly while editing and working with lots of layers and/or actions. Do you have a lot of layers you are working with that aren’t grouped, or many groups of layers on top of your background image? If you are like me you are forever checking your edits as you process, looking at the before and after image. This is such a great shortcut to know for Elements users who don’t have the ability to group.
Simply Option-click on a Mac or Alt-click on a PC on the layer’s eye icon to hide all other layers. So, do this on your Background layer to see all the above layers disappear. Option-click (PC: Alt-click) again to toggle back all the layers that were visible previously. If you wish to make ALL layers visible (instead of just the ones previously visible) Right-click on the eye and then select Show/Hide All Other Layers.
