What version of Photoshop do I need for Paint the Moon actions?
Paint the Moon actions are available for Photoshop CS2 and up (including CS6) and Elements 6 and up (including 10). They work on both PC and Mac.
Please note that the Elements actions are not compatible with Photoshop Elements when purchased from the Mac App store as it is a pared down version of the software and missing key functions. Those who purchased PSE from Apple recently not understanding they were purchasing software that has limited functionality have been able to contact Apple and request a refund, enabling them to purchase a fully functioning version of the software. You can find the best deals usually through Amazon.
Please know that some of the actions and steps will not work with Photoshop versions that are not English.
Do you use these actions for your own photos and client work?
Yes!! I adore these actions and wanted to share them with all of you. I use all of my action sets on a daily basis. They are incredibly adjustable and user friendly, and it’s wonderfully easy to mix and match for unique looks and needs.
Do you offer refunds if I am unhappy with my purchase?
Due to the nature of these products, refunds are not provided.
Will Paint the Moon actions work with Photoshop Elements?
I have a number of sets that are compatible with Photoshop Elements. They are found under the menu “Elements Actions.”
Do your actions work with Lightroom?
No. My actions are designed to work with either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as noted. Look for LR presets in the near future!

Please understand that your results for each action will vary depending on which image you are applying it to. Because not every image is the same in color, exposure, etc, the effect the action has will not be the same. It is best to have your color correction and exposure adjusted properly before running the actions that are artistic in nature. Otherwise, the action may just enhance the flaws in the image, i.e., make color casts more prominent, exposure problems more evident, etc. Experiment with your opacity levels, turn layers on and off to see the differences … use your creativity and have fun doing it! :)
How will I access my download links and products?
As soon as your PayPal or Google Checkout payment completes the download links will both pop up on your screen to download immediately, and you’ll also be sent an email with download links to reference after the fact if you need them. :) It’s an instant gratification purchase … you’ll have your new goodies within seconds!
