This is going to be a new feature on the site that involves all of you as well! I am frequently asked to help out with customer’s images, editing them as I would normally do using my actions. This helps them to see the potential their photo has, as well as see the actions in action, if you will. I thought it would be fun to make this a public feature and showcase some of your photos with Paint the Moon editing done, giving you all a glimpse of what steps I took to edit them and usually providing several examples of a finished image.

If you would like to participate, please send me your SOOC image at anniedesigns@comcast.net. I will choose a couple of images to edit and showcase here each week. But that’s not all … everyone who submits a photo this week and is chosen as the Step by Step Showcase for next week will receive a $15 gift card to the store!! Everyone else who participates will receive a discount code towards my whole store. When you submit your image, please make sure it is a high resolution, straight out of camera shot, and please only submit one photo each week with the title “Step by Step” in your subject line of the email. If you have a particular look or edit in mind (especially if you are interested in seeing PSE edits only), be sure to mention that too! :)

Here is the first Step by Step showcase image … submitted by Shay Chic Photography, and what a beauty it is!

And the final before and after that I happened to like best:

The action sets listed and used in these edits are The Essentials, Miracle Makeover, Fresh and Tillie’s Attic.

It’s here! :)

The long awaited release of Tillie’s Attic.

Okay … I just have to tease everyone with one more sneak peek post from Tillie’s Attic. I’m going to finally release this set today … I’m really excited about it and it’s been in the works for a long time now. It has a special place in my heart and I really poured a lot of work into it. :) There is a huge variety of styles in this set … everything from old fashioned vintage to mod retro to rich black and white to light and angelic. These work with a huge range of different style images, are totally customizable, and are easy to use.

Be sure to check out the *many* up close views of examples in the Main Flash Gallery!

This photo is by the fabulous Christine Elise … each action was run with no tweaking on her original (SOOC at bottom left).

And another couple sneak peeks featuring Paint the Moon’s most famous model …

And this is her “scary horror girl movie” look, LOL!

This set will be for Photoshop CS2 and up.

Another little sneak peek from the next Photoshop action set coming up (shooting for the end of this week), Tillie’s Attic. Named after my grandmother, this one is a ton of fun with some beautiful actions ranging from chic retro to gorgeous vintage styles.

This set will not be available for Elements – sorry! However, Elements users can now treat themselves to the new Summer Breeze set for PSE! :)

The action used on this image is one of my favorites from the set … Angelic Haze. It gives such a pretty glow!
